Due to the current particular context, the call for projects is open <strong>until September 14, 2020<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The fund to combat addictions will thus finance prevention actions carried out by civil society on all psychoactive products:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Tobacco to continue the momentum launched by the National Tobacco Control Program<\/li>\n<li>Alcohol<\/li>\n<li>Other psychoactive substances (priority given to cannabis in particular due to the strong interactions between its consumption and that of tobacco).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>The objective of this call for projects is to support national projects aimed at:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Improving information and understanding of the population <\/strong>general or specific audiences on the impact and dangers of the consumption of psychoactive substances, on the importance of protective environments and of initiation as late as possible <span style=\"color: #808080;\">\u2013<em>and preferably the complete absence of initiation-<\/em><\/span>, and on the benefits linked to stopping or reducing consumption;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Promoting the denormalization of psychoactive substances<\/strong> in society, particularly through the deconstruction of the commercial and marketing strategies of the tobacco, alcohol and cannabis industries;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Amplify interventions<\/strong> aimed at raising awareness of the range of addiction services;<\/li>\n<li>Facilitate access to prevention, care and risk and harm reduction interventions for specific, particularly vulnerable groups;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Enable the tools and support of healthcare professionals\u2019 practices<\/strong> and the socio-educational sector in matters of prevention of risky consumption of psychoactive substances or reduction of risks and harm, in particular within coordinated primary care practice structures;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Encourage the involvement of users or former users<\/strong> themselves, particularly in projects to stop, reduce risks and\/or advocate;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Promote skills development<\/strong> actors from the world of work in the field of addictions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Associations or groups of associations working in the fields of addictive behavior, health promotion, the fight against poverty, patient, user and consumer associations, associations of representatives of health professionals and learned societies may respond to this call for tenders.<\/p>\n<p>Project leaders must be non-profit and have no links with the tobacco industry (article 5.3 of the Framework Convention on Tobacco Control of the<a href=\"https:\/\/www.who.int\/fr\">World Health Organization<\/a>) or operators of the alcohol or cannabis supply
